App crash immediately after minimizing

Expected behavior

My expectation was after minimizing the app the it should keep working instead of crashing.

Actual behavior

App crash instantly after minimizing the app

How to reproduce

Download WEREWOLF On fdroid ,open the app , click on new game ,then click on okay then click in start game click okay , then click okay again.it will bring starting the game at the top of the app , then click cancel at right corner of the app immediately then minimize ,the app will crash instantly.
