Suggestion on addition icon name and improvement alarm &timer functions

in #utopian-io6 years ago (edited)

Components

Simple Clock is an App that has multiple functions related to timing. Users can enable displaying time from other time zones. The alarm contain some expected features. Users can easily measure longer period of time or individual laps and setup a timer to be notified of some events.

Proposal

Simple Clock is an App i found to be very useful but there are some functions I think should be added.
Here are my suggestions below.

Suggestion #1: I would like to suggest that the name of each icon should display when users click on them.

Suggestion #2: I would like to suggest that the timer and the alarm continue to ring until the user dismisses or snoozes them.

Mockups / Examples

Benefits

Suggestion #1: It will allow the users to know the name of the icon they click, as some users may not easily remember or know what each icon stands for/ represents - to avoid guessing and racking of brain.

Suggestion #2:It will allow the users to be notified until they dismiss or snooze, which will make them have more confidence in the App. This will also make the App indispensable.

Nice trick

Hello @pressemman, Your contribution can not be approved as this seems to be really trivial and non technical.

You are adviced to always suggest things that will most probably have great impact on the project.

Example of good contributions can be found here here here and here

Please do well to look into the sample given to avoid submiting low quality contribution in the future. Thank you.

I deliberately posted the contribution because of the complaint from the people i shared the App with, but now you said it's not technical.
