Mailspring a lightweight email client

I am currently using sometimes Mailspring as my email client at home so i can easily check emails in my computer without opening anymore the browser. This can been a convenient email client for me since it does synchs to to gmail or any other email server almost instant.

What i really love best on this one is that its fast compare to some email clients, but i will not be pointing other email client for this one. But in comparison to it , Mailspring is ahead and if i rate this from 1 to 10 , i will rate this as 10 for my experience in using it.

What i like best is that their graphics user interface is lightweight and i don't have experience on hang-up or any technical problem using it. There is also a built-in notification prompting you in pop-up window that you have incoming email.

So i am making this tutorial to share to people what MailSpring can do.

What is MailSpring?

MailSpring is an open source email client application which support Windows, MacOSX and Linux. It has beautiful and fast response user interface. It installer can be downloaded in their website for free.

As we checked on the user interface it is very simple. You can see on the left side the mail functions and in the right side are it's email contents.

Inbox - Here you can see all you emails
Unread - All unread emails can also be found here also
Starred - Here you can all your bookmarked emails
Reminders - Here you can see all your emails with remainders
Important - Here you can see all you emails that you marked as important
Snoozed - Here you can see all your snoozed messages
Send Mail - Here you can see all your sent emails
All Mail - Here you can all kinds of emails
Spam - All emails that are detected as spam can be found in here
Trash - Here you can see all your deleted email
Activity - Here you can see statistics of your usage
Labels - Here you can add labels and set them to group your emails.

Side Menu

On you top right corner when you click it , there will be a pop-up window appearing.

Help Menu : Opens a Guide to user
Sync New Mail Now : Syncs to your email account
Preferences : Set some user preferences
Add an Account : Add additional account to your email client
Change Theme : Change Themes
Install Theme - Install new Themes

When you are editing or composing email in the editor , there is a quick function for font style when you highlight the text.

You can also checked for your activities

Example Functions : (Force sync your emails to your mailspring email client)
You can also force sync your emails by using "Sync new mail now" function

I will have to look at this client. I've been looking for alternatives to Firebird recently.
