I don't see a problem in it.
That's also a good solution. Haven't thought about it as I don't use it that much.
Maybe we can get both and users can decide how they want to secure their accounts further.

I only use exchanges for short transactions and never keep money there. I'm not on other social networks and don't care much about google.
