[Memeit.lol] Suggestion to add images from local storage or internet.

in #utopian-io6 years ago (edited)

Components

Memeit.LOL is a website that allows users of the Steem block chain to create memes, providing a series of templates of the most popular memes, just for the user to add the text.

Although in its latest update in the repositories of Github, I express that it does not admit plagiarism in any way, the website has a finite number of templates (exactly 185 templates) that greatly reduces the possibilities of diversification of memes, by this reason I will propose the following suggestion.

Proposal

My suggestion is mainly based on creating an option to upload images from our local or internet storage, or at least upload images to a repository where Memeit.lol administrators can approve them and integrate them into their list of templates.

Although it is true that most of the extensions of the Steem block chain have this option, this project has not yet proposed it on its road map, and in my opinion it is very necessary to add images of the local storage of users or the internet.

Mockups / Examples

Although it is a suggestion of a technical nature, here is an example of how it should look.

Benefits

This would be a great benefit for all users of this website, since as a lover of memes, I know that today they are created almost daily. And establishing an option to upload updated memes would be a tool that would impact on this project.

Also this would reduce the chances of a user committing plagiarism, since having a greater number of templates to choose from there would be less possibility of a user copying or simply creating similar content.
