The presence of Utopian.io has brought new hope to the world of open source steemit. During this time every developer's work always get paid is not comparable. Though the process of making an application requires special skills and takes days. Until the impression that the role of developers open source steemit often overlooked. Now Utopian is here to help developers and observers of open source. Each application is posted via Utopian.io guaranteed to get feedback from the steemian either in the form of ideas, bugs report or in the form of analysis all of which aims to open source applications steemit better.
Personally I really hope that steemian in Indonesia can take part in contributing through utopia.io because this is a great opportunity to gather Power steem while contributing to the world of open source steemit. Of the many steemian Indonesia, there is no one who contributed to the application of steemit in the form of open source. Though Indonesia has a lot of great programmers. Hopefully with the presence of this utupia.io project will make the programmer in Indonesia meciptakan work for the world of steemit.
Utupian-io is a project initiated by @elear. Through utopian.io contributors can make a contribution in accordance with steemit standards in the form of posts. Automatically this contribution is posted in the "utopian-io" category (https://steemit.com/trending/utopian-io). The intended contribution here is not limited in terms of programming but may also be ideas, report bugs, grpahic design, analysis, documentation, language translation, and visibility associated with the application of steemit. In each post should display a detailed discussion by including images, videos or links so it will be more easily understood by the reader.
This utopian-io project has received a large SP sponsorship from sponsors. Currently any contributions that have passed the review will get a chance to be given a super vote by Utopian.io. This condition is of course the main attraction for the steemian to be able to contribute.
Until today I still see some posts from my friends stemian Indonesia who did not pass the verification. Without the intent to patronize, in this post I will try to give a little turorial to facilitate the steemian contribute through utopia.io
Here are some important things to consider before making a contribution posting via utopian.io:
- Specify the application to be given contribution, for example busy.org, utopian.io, bottracker and others
- Determine what contribution categories will be given. Can be ideas, code pemograman, report bugs, design grpahic, analysis, documentation, translation, and visibility.
- Make sure the application to be contributed has a programming code in the github repository
Category determination when creating a post via utopian.io is very important, because each category has different rules. If we choose the category of bugs hunting but the contents of the post does not comply with the rules of category hunting bug then this post can fail at review stage by moderator. The effect of posting will lose the opportunity to get a super vote from utopian.io until the post is revised in accordance with the rules that have been made. To facilitate the selection of categories can be seen the rules of each category on utopian rules
Once the rules of each category can be understood, then the next will be easier. Here I try to explain step by step how to make contribution (post) on utopian.io. For example we will make a contribution post for utupian.io application with choice of documentation category:
Open utopian.io and click login
After click login will redirect to v2.steemconnect click continue
Enter username and password steemit
Click "Contribution" at the top right
Choose one of the contribution categories, for this example I choose documentation
Enter the Github project. For utopian.io its github link is utopian-io / utopian.io then hit enter and select topmost
Enter a Post title
Begin to make a post as usual
