Am writing to suggest that steemit should upgrade their search feature so that users can easily search locate and connect with their friend and relative on steemit without the need to know their username.
Locating family and friends with Username can be a bit complicated, because username isn't official and people use different username on different platform. Except only those you give your username can easily locate you even this can be a bit confusing.
I am sure you will agree with me that one of the key feature that make some giant social app like Facebook, twitter, WhatsApp etc more interesting place is there this feature of advanced search feature that allow user to look for their family and friends users on the platform without even knowing their username. Perhaps finding them using their official name.
DRAW BACK
The giant Facebook as a case study has this immense feature.
Perhaps you know you can surely search for relative on facebook maybe using their mobile number, Real name, their email or their location among others available means to locate them
How about steemit incorporating this into their search feature! Indeed steemit will be a more lucrative and interesting place to be.
Though human being are great social animal but still socializing with one already known friends and family can be a bit easier and amazing compare to anonymous people you are newly meeting.
MY SUGGESTION AND POSSIBLE IMPLEMENTATION
Am suggesting that steemit should upgrade their search feature so that people can search for friend and family on the platform using one of the below means as in these pictures.

Advantages of including this feature.
People can easily connect with friends and relative without knowing their username
They can locate already know members outside steemit
They can connect and learn from friend thereby enhancing there quick survival as friend and relative will be more willing to help than anonymous among others advantages
