haha.not really :) i am not aware of it. I just remake it for my post presentation actually to have a better proof of work than just a single screenshot . You are right that it's better when it has a shadow... :) thanks!

Since this is a project for android, you should provide the icon in several dimensions (e.g ldpi, mdpi, hdpi, xhdpi, etc)
Suggestion:
You can add some shadow to give a little bit sense of depth to the logo.
