Promoted posts and the Steemit feed.
Proposal Description
I think the promoted post function of Steemit should be given more value and exposure. Currently, it's limited to it's own tab labeled "Promoted". Personally, I've only viewed this tab once and I'm sure most other people don't even take the time to check it out. It's essentially wasting money to be listed on a page no one visits.
What I would like to see is the promoted posts hidden in between posts on the feed. The promoted posts could be randomly displayed for a flat-rate, or they could be displayed in the order of who paid more. Ads like this can be seen on most social media sites as it makes people more likely to click on it.
Like I previously stated, most social networks are doing this now and I believe Steemit should do the same. This eliminates the need and should reduce the use of bidbots which a lot of Steemians are objected to. I personally like the bid bots. but they do have their flaws.
If possible, an option should be given to allow the advertisers to choose which categories they'd like their post/ad displayed on. This allows for a bit of strategic targeting which makes advertising worth it.

I'm not sure what happens with the coins that are spent on the Promote Post feature, but if they go to the Steem team then this is another benefit of changing the system.
I love this Idea, but i think it's some how organizational.
