Tutorial:How to import your Yours wallet into Electron Cash, a multi-platform Bitcoin Cash wallet.

in #utopian-io8 years ago

We can earn bitcoin cash from yours, and yours has declared that each user holds his own private key, that is to say, each BCH from yours belongs to ourselves. How do you export your wallet address to the client? It is possible to import your Yours wallet into Electron Cash, a multi-platform Bitcoin Cash wallet. Here's how you do it.

Yours is powered by on-chain Bitcoin Cash transactions. Users hold their private keys; Yours Inc. does not have access to user funds and cannot prevent cashing out. Export your wallet on the cash page to be sure you can always access your cash. Put it in a safe place. Although value is stored with Bitcoin Cash, the prices on the website are always denominated in USD.

# 1.Get your private key from YOURS

Login in yours, then click your Avatar, enter https://www.yours.org/cash/, then you find the button called "export wallet", click it and will display your private key.

# 2.Download Electron Cash Wallet

Enter https://electroncash.org/ and download
When you run Electron Cash, it will either ask you to create a wallet when you first run it, or if you already have a wallet, you should go to the "file" menu and click "new/restore".

# 3.Start get your wallet

In the wallet creation window, type in a name for your wallet. It's a good idea to put "yours" in the name so you know that it refers to your Yours wallet :)

Next, choose "standard wallet".

Then choose "I already have a seed".

Then type in your mnemonic.

Before you can continue, you will need to click "options" and then choose "BIP39 seed". Leave the other options unselected.

Next, leave the path alone. The path should be m/44'/0'/0'

Next, insert an optional password to encrypt your new wallet. We recommend encrypting your wallet with a password.

Next you will see your wallet. It will take a few minutes to synchronize. After it synchronizes you will see your full balance and all your Yours transactions in Electron Cash.

OK DONE!
