Hello everyone! I'm submitting another Utopian contribution report for some recent updates I have made to the Steem Bot Tracker tool. It's great to see how much this tool has been helping people and I appreciate all of the ideas and suggestions on how to make it even better! You can see some stats from Google Analytics below:
The tool has seen 378 unique users in the last 7 days over almost 2,000 sessions! Anyway enough about that, let's see the updates!
1. Vote Calculator
Now you can calculate the exact value of the upvote you may receive based on the amount you bid for the bid-based voting bots! It shows the total upvote value and also calculates the amount the author will receive after factoring in 25% going to curation rewards. It will show in green if it is more than the bid amount and red if it is less.
Please note that this payout is not guaranteed in any way. Lots of factors affect the vote payout of the bots. For example any new bids placed after you use the vote calculator but before the end of the current bidding round will decrease your payout. Please make sure you understand how the bots work before using them!
2. Adjustable Settings
Two new adjustable settings have been added to let you customize the tool to your needs. The first one is a toggle for whether or not to factor in 25% curation rewards into the Max Profitable Bid calculation. You may want to turn this off if a bot will vote on your post very soon after it is posted, in which case the majority of the rewards will be paid to the author and not to curators.
The second setting is a minimum vote value slider. This will let you filter out bots with small votes if you're only interested in seeing the whale bots.
3. Favicon and Error Messaging
These are more minor changes, but you may notice that our little robot friend now adorns the browser tab to help you more easily identify it!
Additionally I think we are all aware of issues recently with SteemIt.com and many of the popular Steem nodes, so I have added clear error messaging in the bot tracker tool so you know that it failed to load and that you may need to reload the page or try again later.

More accurate available vote data for minnowbooster would be awesome. Also on some systems I’m not receiving notifications for profitable votes.
Yea I will talk to reggaemuffin about minnowbooster, it’s hard to keep up with all of the changes. I think the notifications are only working on google chrome browser. Thanks for the feedback!

Nice work on the updates @yabapmatt! I'm always checking your tracker before bot voting. Very useful!
One update I would like to see is that (I think?) I noticed the tracker does not pick up the transfers that are made in the short moment between the last window closing and the auctionbot upvoting. These can be really quite significant with people putting in large bids at the last moment that miss the end of the last window and fall into the start of the next auction window.
Thanks @miniature-tiger, and you're right about potentially missing a few transfers during that period. It's something I will work on for a future update!
