I'm agree with you for the useless of Night Mode on steemit.com. But i think another theme color is a good thing to choose. I don't like new color style of steemit and i suggest to use the second theme with the old steemit style colour like this: #59a1db. I don't like your idea because i don't like Night Mode color...
