Pixabay is a copyright free image and video sharing service. I love the quality of images the community upload in Pixabay and always use those images in my projects.
The Reason:
This github project I created originally was for one of my upcoming courses. But if we can add more features into this app, anyone will be benefited from this project not only my students. Now I need community help to make it amazing.
Current State:
Right now it just displays Editors Choice images in a RecyclerView & CardView. I used Retrofit, Picasso, EventBus and few other libraries. You can view images in larger sizes (low res) while tapping and also can set wallpapers in your Android devices.
Todo:
- Add a search feature
- Get high resolution images on tap
- Add a menu to share images
- Add a menu to display image information
- Add a menu to download images
- Add a navigation drawer to display image categories
- And more
