Our Trip to Consocep

in #vacation4 years ago (edited)

February 25, 2020. It was the penultimate day of my short stay in Naga. On this day, our family agreed to go to Consocep, Tigaon (Camarines Sur, Philippines) for a leisure activity. Because the decision was spontaneous, we weren't able to prepare for our food. As a result, we settled buying food at a fast food restaurant before we proceeded with our approximately 45 minute travel to Consocep. Near the site, we also bought some viands to augment the food for our lunch.

On our way to the place, we passed by the Hibiscus Camp which is a popular tourist spot in the area. About a kilometer away from it, we found the place where we spent the day for our picnic. Upon arrival and seeing the surroundings, we felt amazed by the sheer beauty of nature...

The place is on a high altitude location, giving a similar feeling as when one is in Tagaytay (minus the lake and the establishments).

We felt the cool breeze touching our skin even if the sun was directly above us.

Tall trees and lush greeneries abound the place. There were flowers and bees indicative of the richness of its flora and fauna.

A panoramic view of the plains of the Municipalities of Tigaon, Ocampo and San Jose of Partido District (Camarines Sur) can be seen from the area.

If not foggy, you'll also have a glimpse of the Lagonoy Gulf, while at your back, you'll have a view of the rugged slope of Mt. Isarog.

Though the development in the area is still in its infancy due to the absence of big business establishments, it is nonetheless what makes the place so attractive; pristine and unspoiled by the effects of commercialism. Hopefully, the natural beauty of the place would be preserved and all concerned parties are geared towards the protection of its environment.

Finally, on our way back home, we had a side trip to the Ocampo Deer Farm (Ocampo, Camarines Sur) where we took some photos with the gentle mammals.
