I think it is really about relative value as even low quality content has some value for some. Like the saying beauty is in the eye of the beholder, many can think content is more valuable then others based on their pursuits... I continue to consume content from movies and tvs while knowing that there are better uses to my time but the fact is that entertainment allows you to separate yourselves sometimes for needed downtime. I enjoy watching some with my family and it brings great conversations at time that even allows us to know each other more. I think that also has value. Again, it is all relative for each his/her own with what they want to get out of it.
