Weed Vaporizers

The rise of lax laws with recreational and medical marijuana has led to weed vaporizers recently. Herbal vapes are electronic units that heat your herbs enough to turn the active ingredients in the vapor. They come in different shapes and sizes along with different types like desktop or portable units. Some can be more discreet while others are out there in the open but they all have their pros and cons. Dry herb vaporizers generally will have the option to change temperatures.

While new herbal vapes coming out really quickly, the technological advancements are incredibly fast too. There have been vapes in the design of a flask, walkie-talkie, inhaler, and much more. Some have an auto shut off feature and others have a timer.

Why should I vaporize?

Vaporizing comes with many benefits that smoking doesn’t. The main difference from smoking is you are eliminating tar since you aren’t combusting the herbs. Let’s take a look at what benefits vaping over smoking.

Benefits

  • Less Smell: Even though you aren’t going to have the smell fully disappear, you can lower the smell by lowering the temperature you use to heat your herbs. You can also make sure your clothes don’t smell like marijuana. Vapor is much thinner than smoke is so it doesn’t stay on your clothes.

  • Conserve Your Herbs: Smoking burns your dry herbs much quicker and turns it into ashes. Vaporizes conserve it by heating it up only enough to not char it. You can reuse your already vaped bud to make edibles.

  • Discreet: Being discreet is one of the main characteristics vapers want. Vaping and smoking still have a sense of taboo in them within certain places so being quick and incognito will help.

Type of Vaporizers

  • Vape Pens: Vape pens are the smallest of them all which is usually purchased because of the size and ease of use. Simply open the mouthpiece, load your ground up herbs inside the oven chamber and press the button. They all work roughly the same. Prices tend to range from $25 to $120 for a weed vape pen.

  • Portable: Portable vaporizers are the most purchased and they are a bit more advanced. They have the most features including temperature control features, great vapor production and more. When you turn it on, change it to your preferred temperature, add your ground up herbs inside the chamber and wait for it to vaporize. Unlike vape pens, the heat up isn’t instant. Portable vaporizers are generally conduction vaporizers which means your herbs do not touch the coil. Touching the coil burns the herbs which is counter intuitive for vapes.

  • Desktop: Desktop vaporizers are the most advanced because they are the most efficient but they come with a very big downside. The downside is that you need to have it plugged into an electrical wall outlet. It does definitely come with more features, a wider temperature ranges to heat up your herbs, different attachments, along with different ways to inhale it. There are different attachments to inhale your herbs like a balloon bag or a whip.
