This is an engine that you don't see every day let alone in a still raced competitive Dragster. All hail the Ford 427 SOHC also known as the 'cammer'.
This is the only engine to ever be banned by NASCAR and was feared on drag strips all over America.
The engine produced 657hp with a dual four barrel carb set up from the factory.
This is probably the only dragster in the world running this engine outside of nostalgia racing.
