It’s interesting, I always try to find perspective by looking back at the past. It is hard to find good info thru the thickness of FUD and hype. Might seem like a pain in the ass to go thru, but the earliest writings about Verge (XVG), are probably the in the bitcointalk threads?

We are talking people’s money, and Verge is the most dramatic crypto in the business. I’ve never seen so much love and hate clashing. Not just on the web, but in person Verge is a hard sell. I just think of it as rooting for your favorite sports team. Or band you really love, while others fucking hate them. There is good and bad in everything yo. I believe in Verge for a bunch of reasons. At the same time, I don’t want to see the community have the kind of censorship that forked the Bitcoin blockchain, as well as the Bitcoin community. Imagine if everyone reached an agreement and BTC never forked this past August. What effect would that have on the price today? The Development?

It seems as though the divide between Verge hype-sters and Verge haters is vast and growing. I like staying somewhat in the middle, keep it light. There are valid points to the arguments on both sides.

Or do if you want, just don’t be an asshole to others either way. This is going to be a crazy and fun start to the week. Whatever happens, if not on the same side, we are all still on the same ride. The Ypto rocket coaster. I’d liked to see everyone do well this year.
