SUMMARY
As requested, here is VERGE (XVG) which has breached out of the symmetrical triangle after carving out wxyxz waves (blue). The final abc for the z wave is quite complete as well. The key question is whether higher highs are likely.
What in previous update had been a symmetrical triangle has likely merged into a bullish ascending right triangle. As Bitcoin is climbing higher and likely so overnight continued; Verge should reach for higher highs. As it's an altcoin with not as much liquidity maturity; it's likely a bit delayed compared to Bitcoin's earlier and quicker reversal. The microwaves shown the likely projected pathway. These first impulse set of waves will be subwaves of a higher degree wave 1 and after a minor correction, then wave 3 will initiate the second round of subwave impulse (not labeled yet).

I can see that bitcoin is regaining some of its lost dominance.
I'm wondering how long this will last and if there will be a shift back to the time when BTC was going up and TOKENS down or it will still be synchronized.
My crystal ball tells me a BTC Dominance below 30% soon.

I learned EW from your tutorials. I am not convinced yet though, but trying to apply and follow up to see how correctly these waves can represent futuristic price meovement.

Consider this other perspective: If you were to get your salary paid in btc and you paid for all your goods and services in btc (and those had a stable price), or if you are never going to sell your btc because you feel that in the future it will happen, then I guess you might think that btc pair is more important than fiat pair.
I have been using btc pair for analysis for months but I now understand (thanks to the recent BTC correction) that this is not the right way to look at it and only makes my gain and loss 100% dependent on the BTC highs and lows.
If one analyses a trade against fiat then their gain and losses are effective.
One still uses btc to buy and sell but if you decide to not hold more than a given % of your portfolio in btc and keep another % of cash on the exchange to enter new trades when opportunity arises, then you are surely taking less risk. This is at least the way I am looking at it now and I am still to implement it when I will be ready to see the coins I am holding...
I understand your point of view, and how is that helpfull for short term traders aiming at fiat profits.
But it is not consistent with the slogan [ Opt out of fiat & Opt into cryptos ] .

I have a very good suggestion for this platform
Although I believe Verge is going to be huge one day. I cannot escape the impression this @haejin guy is a nutjob who is wrong 9 of the 10 times. Every dude with a bachelor in economics or business administration can see the greater idea of Verge and why it will eventually be a good coin. Repeating that its going up until it finally is coming up so that you (haejin) can claim some kind of pride is just ridiculous. This guy is a scam, clickbait and for worse it makes people lazy. Always think for yourself and look at more things than charts. Charts misleads, due diligence leads.
