Verge coin's community is weird. I'd say it's the meme-iest coin since DogeCoin, but that's doing DogeConi a disservice, as that coin's weird community was focused more on advancing the cryptocurrency movement generally and less about personal investor profits.

There is always some shady story with Verge. It's the lead dev being hacked on Twitter, leading to questions about coin technology - or, it's a community donation drive to fund Ledger support, which many think shouldn't be needed at all, handling funds in a way that appears shady to outside observers.
Well, that doesn't seem to be slowing down at all. Now, they appear to be embracing the useless pornography coin "use-case" while employing the BITCOOOOONEEEEEEECTTTTTT Bitconnect method of marketing.
Anyway, I hope you guys took my previous notes about Verge's questionable nature and my suggestion to try to get out well under 1500 Satoshis (a large, round number that serves as a large resistance area/all-time high).
Remember, buy the rumor, sell the news. It feels wrong. You always want to resist. Do it anyway....because Haejin is right about one thing.

I was wondering why my XVG dropped so much lol but I think it'll go up again. The porn community is huge and I think even though Verge is an obviously sketchy investment, there is a chance I might be able to sell at a high that's higher than the speculative all-time high it's allegedly already surpassed. Maybe I'm dreaming, even reaching, but I think this might even spark a new found interest in crypto within a community that hasn't largely adopted it yet. Creating a higher demand for XVG over time could lead to an astounding raise in price within the next 6 months. You know what they say, any media is good media.

An interesting partnership no doubt. Most people who use the services of the porn sites do not want to use any form of identifiable payment method. "hey honey, what is asspunchers.com?" teaming up with a private crypto could be a great move for them. I guess only time will tell.
It also gets people talking about crypto which is important. Visibility is important.
I have to agree, I think if you employ a perspective from someone who is thinking in terms like this, you could stand to make a lot of money investing in XVG right now.
After this news, people started to Invest in Verge and on Binance, Verge is at the top with Maximum Volume 59511 BTC but I have seen a big down trend after that.

I wouldn’t even say this is a partnership Justin and verge basically pulled off a crowdfunding of 10mil to take out some ads and leverage brands like porn hub and brazzers! There is no exclusivity in this deal and really I doubt many XVG investors will be flocking to spent their XVG at these sites
I do think it does present an opportunity for XVG in terms of daily useage volumes and a bit of branding other than that it’s not really as game changing as Justin made it out to be!

Meanwhile the partnership with MINDGEEK is what puts me off this verge coin.
But there is only so much we can do, and honest to say, this partnership with Porn Industry serves well verge's purpose as well as of the porn industry.
Many porn site visitors fear to use their credit card information on Porn sites. With this partnership, they obviously don't need to worry about that, and that can only be a plus for them, and for verge .

I had planned to sell monday night but with the doug polk, hack, ledger nonsense I set a stop loss on saturday(I think) for 1025 as the trigger and 1100 sell price, missed out on 1400 but oh well bought them at 250 last summer/spring.
I sincerely hope that Bitcoin Private will win the competition in the realm of privacy coins, never liked Verge and never invested in it
Good for them. This is also good exposure for crypto in general as porn customers that are not in crypto yet might try to find out what Verge is and how to get it. It is however not the game changing partnership advertised and Verge took a lot of money in donations from their community for this.
