RE: Why the depressed need steemit

in #verification8 years ago

Thank you so much @futuremind ive spent too many years allowing my voice to go unheard out of fear of rejection. Unfortunately my voicelessness and feat were the cause of said rejection. I hope i can help build confidence in others like ive found in myself. Educating that there are outlets for every type of person here, thats what i want to do here, welcome new users, make new friends, create discussions, and share my life that i finally feel as though is being lives to whole new potentials. These are the kind of days and discussions i yearn for on steemit. Much love !
ps im not worried about that. not here for upvotes. Here for my humanity and love.

Hey @dizzyjay, nothing wrong with receiving some well deserved upvotes! I'm not here for the money either, but more upvotes = more views, and perhaps your message, and assistance may save someone's life because a single upvote might boost your ranking ever so slightly enough for that individual to see.

Irregardless, you have already found a circle of community, and we are destined to grow!

I think a resteem is more invaluable. But youre right and i accept that aswell. Wont say no to any obviously. Although i probably will turn the earnings off for certain types of posts down the road.thanks again for the support @futuremind

You bet bro. Keep this in mind as well. Some people are not fans of compulsive resteemers. I understand the value in it, and use the service myself, but try to be selective.

Me personally, not a fan of the compulsive resteemers. If I happen on a page and scroll down for loadings of posts and I've still not found original content, I will quickly move on. Over resteeming is doing yourself a disservice.

I try to resteem a couple things a day, while making sure people who visit my page, are able to see my content. This is all personal preference of course, I'm just sharing my perspective on it.

Word. No ive been trying really hard not to over resteem and have been trying to limit my resteems to posts ive commented in, it increases visibility and transparency. But i do get a bit sloppy but its all a learning curve. Shake off bad habits as a minnow is kinda what happens right? If i become a dolphin ill have to be much more responsible actually the recent resteem i have of @intelliguy touches on that alot.

Dude I want to resteem and upvote everything 😄 I understand

That's a good point, I started resteeming less when I realized people could not find anything I was writing. I'm glad you guys are homemoreness now.
