I've been thinking about doing this cover for a while now, since this song is one of my favorites by Indila. I love all of its versions, especially the piano one. However, the fusion they did with the song Golden Brown is simply musical art. But I wanted to focus on the original version of Love Story with some little arrangements I wanted to do with the soprano recorder and the alto recorder. Although it was quite a process and a challenge that was worth it 🤗
Tenía pensando desde hace tiempo, realizar este cover ya que esta canción es una de mis favoritas de indila, amo todas sus versiones más la de piano, sin embargo la fucion que le hicieron con la canción Golden Brown es simplemente arte musical, pero me quise enfocar fue en la versión original de love Story con uno que otro arreglito que quise hacer con la flauta dulce soprano y la flauta dulce contra alto, aunque fue todo un proceso y un reto que valió la pena 🤗
For me this song has a lot of potential to make arrangements of up to three and five voices, it reminds me of a Venezuelan waltz called "How a Star Cries" because of the high level of material that these two songs have in common, allowing for new voices, arrangements and embellishments, which don't sound bad. I've heard many versions of Love Story, and each one I love more than the last, however I wanted to preserve the central spark of the song and what I did was harmonize it a little more. It took me a while to materialize the idea; it was a bit complicated, I had to listen to the track many times and from there I added the embellishments and nuances. I recorded several times and had to listen to the different versions I had created, that way I was able to decide and stick with this version since it most closely resembles the main idea of what I wanted to do.
Para mí esta canción tiene mucho potencial para realizar arreglos de hasta tres y cinco voces me recuerda a un vals venezolano, llamado "Cómo llora una estrella" por el alto material que tienen estas dos canciones en común para poder realizar nuevas voces, arreglos y adornos, los cuales no suenan mal, he escuchado muchas versiones de love Story, cada una me encanta más que el anterior, no obstante quise preservar la chispa central de la canción y lo que hice fue armonizarla un poquito más; me costó un poco materializar la idea, fue algo complicado tuve que escuchar muchas veces la pista y de allí fue donde agregue los adornos y matices, grabé varias veces y tuve que escuchar las diferentes versiones que había creado de esa forma pude decidir y quedarme con esta versión, ya qué se asemeja más a la idea principal de lo que quería hacer.
On another occasion I want to do a cover of Golden Brown in fusion with Love Story, but in my own way, these types of songs have an incredible vibe that transports you to another universe, an impressive calm that makes you want to dance as if you were a fairy from a story, I hope you can continue releasing these types of songs since they are like medicine for the soul and an invitation to dream, which allows you to do many things within this context and that in our generation we do not lose good music, the one that has a meaning and is truly a musical composition.I had to change the key of the song to A minor, this way the performance was more comfortable although this led me to a radical change of plans, having to configure even the song track, but it was achieved 🪈❤️
En otra oportunidad quiero realizar un cover de golden Brown en fusión con love story, pero a mi manera, este tipo de canciones tienen una vibra increíble que te transporta a otro universo, una calma impresionante que dan ganas de bailar como si fueras un hada de algún cuento, espero puedan seguir sacando este tipo de canciones ya que son como una medicina para el alma y una invitación para soñar, la cual te permite realizar muchas cosas dentro de este contexto y que en nuestra generación no se pierda la buena música, aquella que tiene un significado y es verdaderamente una composición musical. Tuve que cambiar el tono de la canción a La menor, de esta forma fue más cómoda la interpretación aunque esto me llevó a un cambio radical de planes, teniendo así que configurar hasta la pista de la canción, pero se logró 🪈❤️
Now, regarding the video recording, I'm happy with the result and this is the first music video I've made with my new phone, which makes this post a little more important and meaningful to me. Being able to deliver quality content in all aspects has always been my main premise, since I joined Hive and meeting all the standards is something that makes me very happy. Ya con respecto a la grabación del video me siento feliz con el resultado y este es el primer video musical que hago con mi nuevo teléfono, lo que hace a esta publicación un poco más importante y significativa para mí. Poder entregar un contenido de calidad en todos los aspectos siempre ha sido mi premisa principal, desde que entré en Hive y cumplirlo con todos los estándares, es algo que me hace muy feliz, espero que puedan disfrutar de esta interpretación tanto como yo y nos vemos en otra semana del concurso 🤗🫶🏻
