By the end of the time of prosperity, and the summer, which lasted almost a decade, is dying. Review of the series from me:
"Game of Thrones" - for me this is one of the powerful series of the century. Finally, the fantasy genre has become popular, I think this phenomenon is due to the progress of computer graphics.
So, we have several aristocratic surnames (originally, Lannister and Starkey), who weave intrigues and, subsequently, unleash a war for power in the Seven Kingdoms. The most cherished dream of every authoritarian is the legendary saddle of the supreme ruler - the Iron throne. But it's for big players, the rest are content with smaller pieces. In the center, the plot (initially, again) Lord of the North Ned Stark (Sean Bean) and his family. Ned goes to the capital, Royal Harbor, in order to assume the duties of the King's Hand (judging by the plot, left). But in connection with some secret affairs Cersei Lannister, the queens, with whom the Starkeys faced the fate of fate, they have serious problems. I mean, even before encroaching on life comes. And gradually the confrontation flares up. Parallel to this, in the north, which is north of the North, waking up evil, called White Walkers, and in the East, in Esso, the Prince-exile prepares to return the Iron Throne with the help of a nomadic army sold to his sister. But this is still poorly reacted in the Seven Kingdoms, occupied with their internal problems. In general, the plot is good, the expected invasions-catastrophes cause the wait for the final with tension.
The main drawback of the series, I think the stinginess of investors who have regretted the money for large-scale battles in the spirit of the Lord of the Rings and the Braveheart. Although with the popularity of the series there is a hope that I drive away from myself, that in the future sponsors will fork out and make fans happy with an epic pie filled with massive battle scenes in all Sun Tzu's canons.
Javadi's music perfectly conveys all the tragedy and scale of the game of thrones. Now it will be another one of my favorite composers. The truth in the soundtrack was inspired only by the main melody in the screensaver.
The make-up and costumes remarkably illustrated the atmosphere of the medieval society. Armor and weapons are made amazing, for which the costumers a special thank you!
