Two brilliant physicists, Leonard and Sheldon, "great minds" who understand how the "universe works". But their genius does not help them to communicate with people, especially with women. Everything starts to change when beautiful Penny settles in front of them.
When Leonard and Sheldon meet Penny, Leonard immediately begins to be interested in her. He sees a great deal in communication with Penny, up to love, but Sheldon realizes that his friend's dreams will not come true.
It is also worth noting a couple of strange friends of these physicists: Wolowitz, who likes to use phrases in various languages, including Russian, and Rajesh Kutrapali, who is speechless at the sight of women.

Review of the series from me:
At first glance, "The Big Bang Theory" is the most typical sitcom, shot according to all the laws of the genre, such as: short 20-minute series, monotonous and predominantly apartment scenery, and, of course, annoying voiceover (which, by the way, , the brain ceases to pay attention after several series).

It happens that the day passed hard, everything got bored, you - exhausted and tired you come home, and there - a new series of "theory". You make tea, sit down comfortably and immerse yourself in the viewing. And the problems do not seem so unresolvable and difficult, life is getting better.

Each of the main characters are characterized by certain features that distinguish them not only against the background of ordinary people, but also their own colleagues. This, for example, the fascination with the comic books of universes "DS-comics" and "Marvel", the knowledge of the events of all seasons of the "Star Trek" and also an unquenchable desire for science. Actually, it was science that brought these cranks together, because they all work in the same university, but at different departments.

The four male protagonists are mixed: Sheldon Cooper (already named Parsons) is a suspicious and nervous physics-genius with IQ 187; his neighbor, Leonard, is the same as he is a comic-geek, a scholar, but somewhat more educated and relevant or something; Rajish is an exotic Indian, an astrophysicist who is speechless at the sight of women and Howard Wolowitz is a sex-shifted engineer, a Jew by nationality. All this company regularly hang out in the apartment Sheldon and Leonard, arranging themed evenings (this is due to both food and entertainment).

"The Big Bang Theory" will appeal to everyone: from fans of serials, ending with real scientists, because in this sitcom for the first time in my memory a method of scientific and abstruse taunting of human vices and weaknesses was used. So I recommend to viewing - the sphere of interests of the main characters is so diverse that even the most picky spectators will still find something close and native.
10 out of 10 from me.

Interesting Facts:
Sheldon's surname coincides with the name of the famous American physicist Leon Neil Cooper, the Nobel Prize winner in physics in 1972, and Leonard's surname - with the name of another American physicist Robert Hofstader, Nobel Prize winner in physics in 1961.

The title song is written by the Canadian alternative rock band Barenaked Ladies. In the series there is only one verse, but on October 9, 2007 the full version of the song (1 minute 45 seconds long) was released for sale.

Belarusian television channel STV was forced to close the series "Theorists", which is an illegal clone of the famous American sitcom "The Big Bang Theory." The appearance of "Theoreticians" was first noticed only by the fans of the series and bloggers, in whom it provoked violent resentment. However, later information about the clone from Belarus reached the creators of the "The Big Bang Theory". At the end of episode 15 episode 3 of the series, his producer Chuck Lorr posted his comment on this, which was then duplicated on his website.

In one of the series, the 2006 Nobel Prize winner in physics, George Smoot, played himself in the role of himself.

Some quotes:
- Sorry I'm late.
- What happened?
- Nothing, I just did not want to come.

Oh gravity, thou art a heartless bitch.

You are crazy? You can not break into the middle of the night in an apartment to a girl and clean up!

I think I will go. Because, you know ... I want to get out of here.
Thanks for reading and I apologize for the mistakes!
