So there I was wanting an animated video for my track 'Locker X'. Didn't have the cash to pay for an animator so I learned how to use Mandelbulb3D and After Effects to make my own. 7 months of rendering (with a lot of help from friend's CPUs and every free cloud-computing trial I could find) later, I finished!
Even better, it got screened in several major animation festivals around the planet - a nice bonus surprise!

Phi, also known as the “golden ratio” or the “golden mean”, was used to generate the sounds in SuperCollider, which is a programming language for real time audio synthesis and algorithmic composition. The golden mean appears in all forms of science and nature, and has been used by mankind for centuries in architecture. For Sonical, the application of the golden ratio to aspects of sound was a fundamentally organic step in the evolution of Sonical's compositions.
