HTML Code to insert Video to your Steemit post ?

in #video6 years ago (edited)

Recently I signed up with D.tube and started uploading some videos there.

D.tube profile -

When I tried to insert it to my steemit post, it does not become a player so the video is played at viewers click.
It remains a simple not so attractive link. So was there a way to get it to play on the steemit post ?

Technically, NO. but it does give your video more appeal so the viewer might be more likely to check it out.

What this code is simple giving your video link a snap picture which would look like this.

That does look better then just a link, I know it not as good as the video playing on same page but I feel it gives your video a better case to be viewed when you present it this way.

the code is simple

center>
a href='your video address'>
img src='your snap or picture address'>
/a>
/center>

To make the code active just insert " < " before the first letter of every single line

A simple code to make your post and video more appealing for the eye. Hope we can get the videos to be playable on our posts, but this will do for now

Have a great day
