Today we went hiking in Kananaskis Country, located about halfway between Calgary and Banff! The weather was overcast with light rain. The hike to the Falls was fairly easy and enjoyable, approximately 90 minutes return. Originally we had planned a much longer and vigorous hike inside Banff National Park (Helen Lake), but had to make some changes due to the weather not cooperating this time!
I used to do a lot even multi day hikes camping out in the woods in my 20s and thirties and was a very active walker till about 3 years ago when I had leg issues that took a while to get identified the cause About 18 months ago and a few stents later a lot better now and building up again averaging walking 6 miles a day st the moment but not in one go and still building up

That's a beautiful waterfall I do love waterfalls but not sure I am up to a 90 minute hike just yet but hopefully I will build up to that

Thats a beautiful falls and such a lovely sunset! Id like to go there someday. Too bad the weather kinda did not cooperate when you went.
