You can go on a ski trip to the south pole if you want. You can fly to the south pole, you can go polar diving, camping, helicopter tours, go hiking, go kayaking, mountaineering, what ever you like. It is kind of pricey, sure, and you have to be in pretty good physical health.

And they do restrict tourism to some places. The Antarctic treaty makes Antarctica a military free zone dedicated to research. The ecosystem is fragile, and care is taken not to disturb it.

It's amazing how your delusion can blind you from reality.
