I had a co-worker try my gear VR today - affected haunted manor game, she started to walk and I'm like no no stay still. Got freaked out and started running eventually knocked a bunch of stuff over it was hilarious lol.
Haha yea, it's insane how real it seems even though the quality isn't pitch perfect. I myself have an Oculus Rift DK2 laying around. I tried the Samsung Gear headset too, and I must say that the quality is way better on the gear. Oculus of course bumped the quality immensely on the final revision. So i'm looking forward to trying those out too :-)

Basically though, for new users your mind knows you aren't there but it immerses you and you feel like you might be in it, or a part of it.
