In general I think that Steemit does a great job of being uncensorable. But in extreme cases this wouldn't be enough. The website can simply be blocked (I doubt that anyone in North Korea gets to see it even though there are many Steemians in South Korea). And what if the U.S. government decides to play hardball with cryptocurrency?
