Dual-system sync + AI MCP: cameras, Zoom audio, then let your AI edit

in #video • yesterday

Disclosure: I make WaveXML — free Mac/Windows dual-system sync and a local MCP your AI (Claude/Codex/Cursor) can use. Pitch in one line: sync cameras and audio, then let your AI edit. Site: https://wavexml.com/

Dual-system sync (Resolve / Premiere / Final Cut)

  1. Export the timeline as FCP7 XML or FCPXML.

  2. Open WaveXML → drop XML → point at Zoom/Sound Devices WAV folder → Synchronize.

  3. Import the returned XML; spot-check a clap or dialogue peak.

  4. Mute scratch tracks and keep cutting.

Local processing — no upload plugin. Free beta after registration on the site.

Then let your AI edit (MCP)

WaveXML MCP gives your AI eyes and ears on the synced footage: still frames + measurements (shake, soft focus, dark, swings). Bad parts stay out; the AI’s cut can run through WaveXML before you see it. Files stay on your Mac/PC — only frames the AI asks for leave the box. Writes the edit as XML for Resolve switchable multicam (also FCP/Premiere).

Not captions, VO, dubbing, or face recognition — sync + footage facts for AI-assisted cuts.
