The Dragon Quest XI version for Nintendo 3DS will have some peculiarities that Square Enix has made known in its official website, where also they have shared new images of this awaited JRPG that is released in the Japanese stores next 29 of July.

One of the first exclusive features that came to light was the possibility of enjoying its action with three-dimensional graphics or through a zenith perspective, with the graphics of the first installments of the series. Beyond the aesthetic, this brings with it some variations in the formula of game, because with the 3D graphics we will have option of seeing to the enemies and, therefore, to avoid those combats, whereas with the retro esthetics the battles are random and the Perspective of the fighting will also be somewhat different.

There will come a moment of adventure in which we are asked to choose one of these two options, but Square Enix stresses that we can always change between one and another perspective by going to the churches that populate this universe of fantasy. There is more.

Thanks to the option "Memories of the Journey" we will have opportunity to re-view the different cinematic sequences of the video game, both with 3D graphics and 2D aesthetics. "The Labyrinth Beyond Time", on the other hand, is a special dungeon to which we will go with the creatures called Yocchi, which are obtained through Streetpass. The more we have in our power the easier it will be to complete its challenges.

Dragon Quest XI premieres on Japanese PS4 and 3DS on July 29; Later on it will also be released on Nintendo Switch. Its landing on the western market has not yet materialized.
