Viewly has just released their new website and I must tell you that it looks awesome. You can see that the team has worked hard on this one.
We can now have a better understanding of Viewly’s vision for the future and how it will revolutionize online video content distribution.
We can also notice improved explanation of the revenue model, detailed descriptions of benefits and schematics of the decentralized platform.
A surprise snippet of information is the following :
“Viewly’s long-term goal is to evolve into a full-fledged DAO. Both decentralized technology and governance processes are still under heavy development and experimentation. As we want to get to the market as soon as possible, we will be introducing decentralized platform layers gradually. Starting with content monetization layer and continuing with P2P CDN, both backed by VIEW token. Final stage will be migrating the organizational structure into DAO with treasury, on-chain governance and core team as well as community workers employed through blockchain.”
As we are entering this new era of technological advances we increasingly have the technological means to revolutionize human social institutions, the potential is unlimited.
Although decentralized autonomous organizations are still experimental in nature, their potential should not be underestimated as they have the future ability to provide a “trustless” environment that aligns its members’ interests.
