Hello everybody!
I just wanted to give a general advice on altcoin shilling.
For those of you who are new or are not familiar with the cryptocurrency lingo, shilling means advertising a coin in a very obvious manner. For example, in the last week many youtubers were shilling Ripple, TRX, PacCoin and other coins that imo are pretty crappy.
Now, there are 2 types of crypto youtubers:
Crypto Youtubers that have genuine knowledge about the space. Some examples are: Boxmining, Vincent Briatore and Tai Lopez (the guy himself does not know much, but he has videos with people who are really knowledgeable about the cryptocurrency space, he doesn't shill shitcoins as well and seems to be genuinely trying to learn). These YouTubers don't necessarily give calls, but if they do, they tend to give calls on coins based on a series of factors, the main ones being:
- Technology: They explain the technology and are able to elaborate a brief 2-3 minute introduction on the coin. - Team: They tend to explain who is behind the coin and why they think that you should keep an eye on them. - Market cap: Here is a big distinction between shillers and good Youtubers Shit Youtubers have video titles like: RIPPLE GOING TO $10???!!! MOON!! and they don't go over the market cap to try to find out how stupid they sound.The crypto shillers. These YouTubers are mainly scum. Examples: CryptoNick, who promotes the Ponzi known as Bitconnect and takes advantage of his subs by using them as referrals; JRBusiness, for example promoted (in a very passive way to look as good people) PacCoin on December the 30th and since then the coin is up more than 2000%; and Ryan Hildreth. Many of the times that they promote coins they use clickbait titles such as: "I Bought 100,000,000 of This Cryptocurrency Coin! Up 500% Profit!!", "How Bitconnect Has Made Me $850,000 In Cryptocurrency Profit! (17 Year Old Bitcoin Investor)" or "TOP 2 ALTCOINS THAT WILL MAKE YOU RICH IN 2018!".
There is not much to say about this, these guys are disgusting leeches that take advantage of their subs, they previously bag a lot of alt coins and then shill them in their channel, so be really careful about these disgusting rats.
I hope you liked my post and that you understand that these people are nothing but scammers that take advantage of their followers. Be careful with your money, remember, people who get rich quick lose their money even quicker, making money, just like working out or developing skills is a marathon, not a sprint.
