Those you walk by can be angels in disguise. Do something nice for someone who needs it. Make their day and give them hope! Don’t think twice. Improve the lives of everyone around whenever possible even if it is outside your comfort zone. Many people are one missed paycheck away from bankruptcy and be right there next to them on the sidewalk next time. Make wise decisions and help others. You are never as great as you think you are or as bad as you think you are.
Thank you @dailyxkcd I appreciate it. It really eats me up that so many people are having trouble especially when their kids have to suffer with them. Constant reminders every day driving through bad and good neighborhoods on the way to work take their toll over time. You can't help them all, but you have help someone. Seeing a mother and her daughters climbing around in dumpsters on their way to school can really bring to reality what some go through every day. And they still smile. Hats off to all that make it through the day even if they can't stop until they go to sleep. Determination, motivation and ambition. You see it everywhere if you pay attention. Unfortunately, increased awareness equates to increased sadness when you look at the big picture. Doesn't mean it has to be that way.
