VinChain solves the problem of asymmetric information in the used car market by creating a decentralized, unchanging, transparent, secure and reliable car inventory.
VinChain is a blockchain database that records all vehicle related information. For each vehicle, information is collected throughout the life of the vehicle. This history is transparent and accessible to everyone. In order to protect the accuracy of information, distributed storage technology is used. This ensures absolute reliability and confidentiality of the data.
Every day hundreds of thousands of used vehicles are sold worldwide, and every buyer wants to get reliable information about the vehicle's technical condition. This is a matter of security, financial and safety matters. Unfortunately there is no single database of cars. There are commercial establishments, but they do not solve this problem. Their information is stored centrally and is at risk of inaccuracy. Commercial establishments closed and did not exchange information with each other. As a result, buyers of the car risk their safety and lose money.
In the future, this technology can be extended to different segments of the market: yachts, construction machinery, real estate.
