There are a lot of new 360 cameras on the market today. Last year I happened to win, perhaps the best of it's time. A Kandao QooCam is a convertable VR camera which can produce 4k 60FPS 360 footage, as well as 4K 3D VR180 video.
I've recently enjoyed using the modile app editor to make quick clips they call "smartClips".
