And we are already into the third month of the year, after a mild start to 2023 the UK is set for a final blast of winter chill before Spring can bring the warmer weather back.
As you might expect it has been another crazy busy week of roasting and packing, continued with the big contract of Colombian coffee roasting along with just keeping up with our usual roast demands. Generally sales have picked up nicely with a broad range of products going out to both domestic and commercial customers.
To help smooth at the packing process for the roasted coffee, we now have two vacuum loaders for the weigh and dose machines - so instead of pouring a container of coffee into the hopper which is a tricky can messy job - the vacuum loader sucks it out of the container and drops it into the loader - mess free and much easier.
The screwdriver from lttstore.com is a real winner, so handy to have so many different screw heads easily accessible in the handle, the vacuum loaders needed some building up and it had a head for every screw in it. Also there is a rather handy magnet head - so when you loose a screw - or in my case this week the bolt in a metal wall plug decided to hide inside it - the magnet just pulls it out.
My Hive full API node is fully functional, Hivemind is being a little fickle about crashing but generally it is working nicely again and I finally have a back up Hive Engine witness running as well.
