Hello @steembasisoncome
Of course it's a good idea ππΌ So can you tell me the optimal SBI/SP ratio you consider for the maximum payout? And how to calculate the payout if it's not a proportional function..
Thank you π @peekbit

ooh, that's a tricky function and it depends on your overall Steem account goals. I would be happy to go over it with you if you can reach out to me on Discord.
Hello @sbi-booster βΊοΈ I think if it determines the payout of @steembasicincome than everybody should know it. If it's just a closed formular it's easy to handle anyway. @steembasicincome could just name the parameters (and maybe how to get them) and publish the formular as it is applied. It's not complicated to do the math I guess π @peekbit
The value accrual parameters are openly explained in Vote Values in Steem Basic Income - Part Three: Where Are We Going? and the actual upvote delivery mechanics are explained in Vote Values in Steem Basic Income: Part Four - Value Balances and Upvote Delivery.
Essentially, there are four independent systems that drive our upvote value. Two through four require an enrollment in the first of at least one unit, and the fourth stream has not been developed yet.
The multiplier given for upvoting our posts is now 1.34x instead of 1.25x, but the core mechanics are the same. My offer to go over it with you is not because it's private knowledge (it's not, and we have tried very hard to get people to read these updates), but because we know that it's complicated and I can help you decide with value factors to optimize for, depending on your account goals.
Rhetorical question: Why do corporate executives (with MBAs and decades of experience) hire expensive consultants to help them make strategic decisions?
