Introduction to lychee

in #vn6 years ago (edited)

Like other rural areas, the daily life of the people of Chu town, Luc Ngan district is calm and quiet of a small town in a mountainous district of Bac Giang province. But starting in the season of ripe cloth, that is starting from the middle of May every year, the life here suddenly bustling, the seller buys the seller, the traders from the provinces and abroad focus on buy lychee On the main road of the town, busy vehicles from a truckload of dozens of tons to small trucks, motorcycles, motorcycles are used to specialize several months to sell at the point of purchase on the right. on the road. The sale of litchi is bustling with bargain, cloth quality reviews, falling prices, scales, packaging, pay ...

On the hills, where everywhere the vast reddish-brown cloth, standing on the heights of the roof or the high mountain, we can unleash the redness of the lychee in the season. This season, all the people are focused on harvesting lychee, the family is more or less a few plants, home less a few dozen cloth, many homes can up to several thousand. Households who grow few are often unable to harvest the fabric themselves, so the demand for labor in the litchi season is very high, and workers in neighboring areas or even in other provinces harvest the fabric.

From 1993-1995, when the new litchi was planted in Luc Ngan, the price of fresh litchi was about 12,000 VND / kg, which is very high if the value of the currency equivalent to the time. present. At that price people do not need to worry about the consumption that small traders often come to buy in the garden. However, from 2000 onwards, when litchi was planted in the low hills of Luc Ngan, Luc Nam and Son Dong districts, litchi fruit, like many other agricultural products , when grown massively, the output problem with the people is more complex than ever. The litchi fruit is mainly exported to China, because the demand is not high in the country, with the irregularity of this market, there are years of litchi farmers have to accept the price of 1500 to 2000 per kg , which is just enough to pay for labor to harvest the fabric.

Under such circumstances, many people have begun to consider drying the fruit for long-term storage and consumption after ripening. From the beginning of the 21st century, the litchi drying model has gradually become popular and expanded to the whole district. When the price of fresh litchi tends to be too low, the drying kilns begin to operate, with the capacity ranging from a few to several tons per batch, each batch of fabric usually lasts 4-5 days. This is a very good solution to the problem of ripening and harvesting in just one month. In this way, the lychee will be stored for 1 to 2 years depending on the dryness of the fabric. and storage conditions. The dried lychees will be consumed when people find the price is right, however, there are still years that are difficult to find out because of the dependence on Chinese traders.

The dried litchi fruit has the sweet taste of ripe fruit, the fragrance of the forest, the taste of fruit ripen. Having eaten dried lychee since the first years of this model was applied at Luc Ngan, it can be said that dried litchi fruit is like a candy of nature brought to human. You may have ever tasted the flavors of many sweets, they are all sweet but you will not find the taste of a natural candy - if you have never tasted dried lychee.

Dry litchi has been popular, although at a low level, in the provinces and cities throughout the country, there are dried outlets selling this product although very rare. In addition, there are people in Luc Ngan fabric areas, Thanh Ha bring this product from the countryside to sell in major cities mainly via online referral channel or send at the store. Dry lentils, if communicated widely to people across the country, the consumption will be very large. In China and many countries in the world, dried litchi fruit of Luc Ngan is very preferred but in Vietnam, many people have never tasted this product. The majority of Luc Ngan litchis exported to China have the final destination in the third market, which is a painful export problem for managers and businesses looking for fruit markets. lychee.

Dried fruit is usually used immediately, the winter days by the hot tea is dry cloth, the taste of it will hardly fade to enjoy. The dried litchi fruit next to the use can also be used to soak alcohol, lychee dry sweet, easy to drink, have health effects if used appropriately. Next to it, dried lychee was used in some traditional medicine or jam. With sugar content, vitamins, especially vitamin C, eat dried lychees have the effect of improving health, preventing diseases, mineral supplement. The pulp contains many useful compounds that help circulate blood. In the traditional healing methods of the Orient, if eat cloth regularly will help blood circulation well, good spleen, good for sick people to wake up, depression. Dry cane is a natural tonic for women and older people. Fabric has the effect of limiting blood vessel obstruction, destroying cells and reducing the risk of stroke by more than 50%.

I love tropical fruits. I wish I get to eat them every day. Occasionally we will buy them at the Asian grocery stores, but they're not as plentiful as they are in Vietnam. Glad to see you post this.

Hello interesting article! I follow you, and you follow me. Let's develop the power of Steemit together, so we can achieve more! Upvoted your post! ;)

Chao em. Yeah, it is sad when prices fall. The price can go down when people have more money. How much do an average Vietnamese make per month? Maybe 4.000.000 VND / month or maybe less. They could spend money if they make more money. And they can make more money if employers paid more. And employers can pay more if they made more. But it is hard to make money when the yellow police come to ask for coffee money.

Hello! I followed you, let's increase the power of Steemit together! I hope you follow me. I'm always glad to have a new acquaintance with good people! ;)
