This is the only (almost) justifiable reason for "not-voting" (staying silent).
If people lose all faith in a system that's not yet 100% corrupt, then it basically hands the keys over to the mobsters.
The "risk" seems pretty small. Although it's not out-of-the-question that I might be secretly "renditioned" by the FBI for voting for a VERMIN.
PLUS, if you're registered to vote, you can practice some JURY NULLIFICATION!!!

They are. There is no doubt. I've been at this since Bush the lesser. Black Box Voting. I was trying to wake everyone up 20 years ago to the voting sham. Rigged, proven, no-one cares... Voting is the candy you give to the adults to shut them up. Like a steering wheel to your 3 year old in the back seat who wants to pretend he is driving.
It is always the same. It is ridiculous. It is quite frustrating to see, still working. ALthought more are finally figuring out the sham thankfully.
"The People" are not fit to 'vote'. That is why they are allowed to pretend. The perfect farm where the slaves think they are 'free'.
Now, I do vote in local elections. Far more transparency and actual 'politics'. Your vote can still count in the locals, although not for long....
The local elections are where it actually counts. But our Banker demons have convinced muricans that we only need 2 parties, and both are controlled by the same entity.
I have pretty much eliminated all the 'you'll throw away your vote' assholes in my circle, so I don't have to hear it that much.

The left and right are both broken but the left has LOST THE PLOT here. Anything even slightly right of 'ANTIFA' is considered "muh NAZI". This is how controllers can make it when there is a 2/1 party system that they control both sides on. They need you to pick a side. They need you to GIVE YOUR MANA TO THEIR GAME.
So this is what 95% of the country does:
"Vote once every four years, wipe hands, cheer lead until next time comes along to play 'adult'. Bash on 'other side' endlessly. Never look at actual politics. Never hold your ELECTED that YOU CHOSE, responsible. Just sit back and yell at 'THE OTHER SIDE' for 4 years, then choose your team again, and sit back and bitch at the other side again.
Now, when you drill down to who's doing more 'lying' and 'manipulation', it is by far, the "Left", but this seems to switch every 8 years. In the bush days it was the right, who was a party of endless LIES, and the left that was using truths and common sense. It flipped, and I am sure it will flip again. Confusion must always be in motion to keep the charade floating.

I guess as long as people still have FAITH in the voting systems, there won't be much of a rush to implement block-chain voting.
Imagine if the headline news story was, "PORTLAND RIOTS TO IMPLEMENT BLOCK-CHAIN VOTING AND RCV"!
Or, "OCCUPY WALL-STREET DEMANDS BLOCK-CHAIN VOTING AND RCV"!
Yes I was just telling my uncle about this who just got called for duty yet again. He doesn't like it and I told him to toss NULLIFICATION around his peers and he will NEVER be called on again.
