I used to think that too. The thing is, those 'nudged' ones were already nudged. Those folks will 'seek truth' no matter what. A certain % of the population is immune/resistant to this form of mind control. I think this is what the matrix referred to as 'the anomaly of the One'. No matter how perfect their system is, there's always this pesky portion of the batteries that don't like being batteries, and always want to know 'what is the matrix'.
If I'd never seen movies like BRAZIL, I seriously doubt I'd have ever made it this far.
I agree, it's still a "scam" but some "scams" are notably "less-wrong" than others.
Right, that's you. What about all the others, like 99% of the folks who also saw Brazil and it did nothing to them except be a 'weird movie'. And 'matrix' being a 'great science FICTION flick'. And on and one. They 'INFORM' on you in EVERY movie. Some are just, so in your face though because "FICTION" and folks program themselves to think 'fake', so they don't "NOT CONSENT".
That was YOU. Not hardly ANYONE ELSE. YOU saw things, that others did/will not. That means that you are part of the "Anomaly of the One". Rare. Not 'of the masses'. Up to you to find out what your Mission is.
I think there are a lot more INTPs out there who feel "alone" (they're notoriously difficult to rally).
