No, not at the moment. Auckland is actually on holiday today - each region has their own annual day off.

We do have a big and growing resistance but at this point truckies are pretty silent - possibly most of them are employees rather than contractors.

Our roads are pretty narrow and the huge Kenworths etc are pretty scarce here. There certainly are some, especially for logging, but in urban areas they are mostly more this sort of size:

Right and yeah, I do remember the roads being narrow. I was there for three weeks in 2012 and we hired a car in both N and S islands. I remember the speed limit being 100 kmph :).
