NUEVO MUNDO
Lejos de mi tierra he buscado
un lugar donde arraigar.
Busqué un paraíso, y el inferno es
lo que acabo de encontrar.
Aquí yo no soy bienvenido,
aquí soy una lacra en la sociedad...
tan sólo soy, tan sólo es
un largo viaje a la esperanza.
Y soy semilla de ilusión,
culpable de traición
si caigo en el camino.
Soy el pájaro de luz
que quiere escapar
de un triste destino.
Y a mi tierra no puedo volver...
lo que me pudo dar, me lo dió.
He dejado hijos y mujer;
la esperanza de mi gente soy yo.
Quien me cierre los caminos,
que se pare a pensar
que lucho por los míos,
y no puedo abandonar.
No hay marcha atrás...
