Yesterday evening was passing through a pathway that was surrounded by tall trees and that got my attention. I have to bring out my smartphone and take pictures of the trees and edited some of the pictures.

Trees are very important to humans and its benefit is enormous especially over here in Africa. One of major importance of trees is the Oxygen it released to the environment. As we all know that we humans breath in oxygen and release carbon dioxide to the environment. During the process of photosynthesis, Oxygen is produced as by product and it's released to the environment and the trees take in carbon dioxide which is a waste released by humans while humans breath in oxygen and give out Carbon dioxide. We call this mutual relationship where both benefit and need each other for survival. I will advice you to plant trees around you for adequate Oxygen.
Apart from the Above mentioned benefit, it is also a source of shade especially over here in Africa that have high temperature and sunshine. It's always refreshing to rest under the trees during the day receiving fresh breeze. That feeling though.
AESTHETIC PURPOSE
TREES can see for aesthetic purpose. They are normally used to beautify our environment, used to show demarcation. They enhance the surrounding by adding beauty due the colour of leaves and flowers, screen unsightly views and attract attentions. When planted on roadsides, it preserve roads made with asphalt. But it's not all type of trees that can be planted for this purpose, there unique trees for this purpose such as olive tree, mountain ash etc.
OTHER BENEFITS
As a source of fuel. It provide people with firewood especially in Africa that is still in developing phase. Over here most people im rural areas still firewood for cooking. Most wood in Africa are used for firewood.
Wood gotten from trees is used for building wooden houses, in roofing of building and as a support for Masons during building processes.
Trees when planted in large number for forestation help in the preservation of nature, wildlife and the environment. The importance of trees cannot be overlooked.
