Our Parents have failed us
Constantly playing games with our future
The Politicians have no sense of direction
Dishing out episodes of comedy and fun
Policies that make us question their mental capacity
The leaders lead from outside their states
Not minding what the populace pass through on a daily
Living a life of affluence on the tax payers' money
Is it just a problem of the leaders?
Hell No
The followers sell their rights even before it gets to them
And live on the mercy of the corrupt judge
Begging for their rights as though it's not theirs
Begging for a window's mite just to survive
Like pawns on a chess board,
They push us to the forefront of the battlefield
And we sheepishly obey as zombies
Will we continue with the blame game?
To see whose fault it is
For the deplorable state of my heritage; Dear Mama Africa?
Will we continue to watch from the sidelines
As politicians play a 90-minute game into 180 minutes without blowing the final whistle or even have it in mind to make substitutes to put in fresh legs?
No, we will rise and challenge the status quo
We will rise to see to the judicious appropriation of the so many resources flowing from Mama Africa
We will see to the prosecution of the corrupt judge
We will see to the possibilities of infusing young heads into the game
We will see to it that we live together as brothers and sisters of Mother Earth
We will see to all these
Not by violence or uproars
Not by 'Mission Occupy'
But by Intellectual sensitization, articulate orientation and constructive discussions.
We are Humans and we deserve better
