A lot of disinformation and falsehood here and I have the digital/communication proofs. It may not be possible to cover everything for each specific business mentioned. But let's start with two of the businesses mentioned here - Grand Options and Romey Everyday Supermarket:
These were the first two businesses I onboarded in Aba. In line with distriator guidelines, here were what I did to onboard them:
- Spoke with the Business owner/representative about Hive and HBD
- After they understood it, I created their accounts through Hive Keychain
- Sent them all account keys
- Helped them install Keychain.
- Showed them how to use V4V to generate HBD receipts and how to use distriator to claim discounts.
- Since these business operators were not into crypto, I did the Bureau de change to simplify the payment conversion - helping them swap HBD to fiat at the end of each sales/businesses day.
Digital/communication proofs - Grand Options.
Mrs Osueke is the Owner of Grand Options. Her two Daughters Miss Chinwendu and Miss Peperunie are the shop attendants. I met three of them, explained Hive and HBD and they properly understood it. Mrs Osueke an Older woman who is not always available gave the permission to list her shop and mentor the Daughters. All three are still available today to confirm these facts in person.
- Creating account and Sending the Keys: I created the account @grandoptions on 7th October 2024 and immediately forwarded the keys to Miss Chinwendu, the daughter and one of the store attendants of the business. I also included the V4V and distriator URLs for generating receipts and claiming discounts. Below is the WhatsApp communication proof.
Chinwendu installed Keychain, imported their business account and learned how to Use V4V to generate receipts and distriator to claim rewards.
Later, her sister Miss Peperunie got the keys too. Installed Keychain and also learned how to use the V4V and distriator.
These two daughters of the shop owner are the persons you will likely meet anytime you visit GrandOptions.
As at that time 2024, Chinwendu was working and is not always available. So I took time with Peperunie and she was the main person handling HBD payments at the shop. She learned how to generate receipts and was able to teach customers how to claim discount too.
At the end of each day or sales, Peperunie sends me a WhatsApp message to tell me she has transferred HBD to my trading account @swaplane. I will then send her the corresponding amount in Naira. See some of the WhatsApp proofs and note the dates too:
Between me and the accuser, draw a conclusion
- Did the business owner/ her attendants know what we did (Hive/HBD)?
- Did I send the keys of the business to them or withhold it?
- Did I mentor them and let them accept HBD for their business?
- If I had not shown them how to use distriator and V4V, how did she learn how to send HBD to me for fiat?
I recently went to Grand Options because of this accusation. I met Miss Chinwendu and her mother. They were happy to see me again. As old business partners, I was allowed to record their shop from outside to inside, and also bought something with HBD. Does this sound like a business onboarded behind the back of the owners? Romey Everyday Supermarket
Without repeating the same details again, what I did with GrandOptions was exactly the same thing I did with this business. Romey is next-door shop after GrandOptions in the same shopping plaza. SpendHBD was launched on the same day across these two businesses.
The Owner is Mr. Joe. He knows what Hive/HBD is all about. He knows how to generate receipts with V4V and claim discounts with distriator. Let me just share WhatsApp/Digital communication proofs.

Did he know how to accept HBD?
Yes. Below is proof of him sending me received HBD to convert to fiat.
Again, these business owners are still available today for physical verification of these facts and evidences in WhatsApp communication.

So why might some of the businesses sound unsure about what HBD is or how to accept it?
Crypto adoption is slow and difficult for businesses. A good number of the businesses mentioned above left HBD payments immediately or a little after my efforts to onboard them. For some, it's been more than 4 months or 7 months or more since the last transaction. Did they still remember how to use distriator or V4V? Very unlikely. Fiat payments are just the norm here. So they simply moved on. That however does not remove evidence of my initial efforts to follow due process has been presented above.
There are however 3 businesses including Crunchies where it was not easy to meet the owners directly. That made the owners or current operators unaware of HBD or Hive. While I made and acknowledged my mistakes in how those 3 were listed, every under businesses I onboarded followed the guidelines in this examples above.
Finally
Shortly after accepting HBD payments and getting onboarded, there were still customers, who are Hiveans that have gone to Grand Options and Romey Everyday supermarket to spend HBD when I was never there. The shop attendants helped them do everything. If necessary, I might pull these users up.
I wouldn't know the accusers intentions, but it's obvious that he clearly distorted facts and misrepresented a lot of what he wrote here.
I simply removed the reward because the rewards are not necessary in this case regardless of what you have done. Whether this is true of false have no impact on this action.
But now his answer is hard to find on this post. I upvoted it so that this most relevant comment can be seen, its not about deserve.

Thank you for being reasonable. I just want to be left alone in my little part of the Hive universe. We could perfectly ignore each other and cut the drama. There is a lot of other stuff to take care on here, with many abusers and scammers, and this shall be the common goal.

So many people stand up for what is ”wrong” because free money is additive. People lose the free money and freak out and rope other people into it.

From these thousands, I've made a lot of friends, from all over the world. Some of them trust me, and I trust them, like they have my keys, if something would ever happen to me, so that my family will get the funds. This is worth more than the $4 in here.
The daily writing is just for me, to practice the writing in longer form, as on the daily job, I write very short messages to my team. And yes, I could write on other platforms, but I'm a chain promoter, and stick to what I preach.
The fact you have screenshots of the conversation in which you gave the keys means that YOU ALSO STILL HAVE THEM.
I am really interested in this topic, as I back up keys (and have helped them replace their keys when they lose them) for multiple of my own onboards!
