Trail Essentials Feminine Disposal Paper Bags Review, Simply Irregular Mini Paper Bags

So here are the trail essential feminine disposable paper bags. It says that there are 100 paper bags for discrete disposal, used with tampons, sanitary napkins, liners, or any personal hygiene products that go friendly on the go. This is a refill, and the bags kind of okay. Well, this appears to be a typical unsealed or unwaxed unpaper bag. It's just a paper bag, there's no coating in here. It's very tiny, like these are tiny bags. And actually, this bag is irregularly shaped. I don't know what is going on with that corner.

So these are little brown paper bags. I thought these would be like wax-coated, and I'm gonna tell you why. Or you know, it's not even like naturally wax-coated, it's just some kind of coating. Because when you're out camping, it's great to have biodegradable, compostable paper, right? But if you have items that are heavy and you put them in here, this is going to soak up all of the liquid and you're gonna have it in your bag. It could tear even. What happens when you put water on here? Because if this bag were to get wet because I have an item in there and I roll it off and I'm like, oh yeah, I'm out camping, I'm gonna put this in my pack, is this really going to hold? I mean, so far, but like, you know, I just got this thing wet. I mean, it feels like you can feel it, it's wet on the inside. Oh, it's starting to get translucent, so it's not foolproof.

Like, I don't know what I was thinking. I just thought it would deter animals by placing the item in there. And then when you fold it up, you don't have to worry about the scent of it or of the liquid situation. Unless there's something specifically important about these in comparison to small paper bags, because really this is a sample bag that you would get like when you're getting samples or you're getting like a few candy items at a candy store. Oh, see okay now it's giving away, now it's sitting here wet. So it's not like it's made out of a bag that is really going to hold up against wetness. So if you get wetness and you're moving around, that can happen to you. It's basically, um, I hate to say it's just a paper bag. It's just a paper bag. I don't know if there's anything special about them. I mean, they do say recyclable and compostable, but, um, I don't know if all paper bags are compostable, so that might be a thing to look into to find out if this particular one is definitely compostable when maybe other ones are treated and aren't compostable. But otherwise, this is not going to deter liquid, this is not going to deter animals. They're still going to be able to smell the items and you're still gonna encounter wetness issues. So this is, I mean, unless you stuck it in there and you really rolled it up, and at that, you don't have any adhesive or anything to close it, so really what you're doing is like this, which that's no good. But yeah um so yeah, there you go. If this works for you, like you're like, no, I really want it to be in these little bags and you want it to be recyclable and compostable, then you know these are for you. I would wonder if maybe other paper bags might be compostable as well or maybe you just don't want to use something like this but yeah, it's just a small paper bag and they are irregular. I mean, this is strangely round here and then like, no, there, like I mean, that just opened up right there with barely any effort. So yeah, at least it's sealed up to that point, but you do have a hole.
