Building a reading habit has been one of the most rewarding choices in my life. Books have a quiet but powerful way of expanding your world — they sharpen your mind, calm your thoughts, and introduce you to ideas and people you’d never meet otherwise.

For me, reading isn’t about speed or quantity. It’s about connection — with stories, with knowledge, and with myself. A few pages a day can shift your mood, inspire a new idea, or simply remind you to slow down.

If you’ve ever struggled to make reading a habit, start small:

  • Read just 5–10 pages each day.

  • Choose books that genuinely interest you, not ones you think you should read.

  • Keep a book (or e-book) within reach — you’ll be surprised how often you can fit it in.

Over time, those small daily moments add up. One book becomes five, and suddenly reading becomes as natural as breathing.
