Canadian digital asset management company 3iQ will be holding an IPO (initial public offering) of an exchange-traded Ether-linked trust next week. The Ether Fund (QETH.U) worth $ 107.5 million will be listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange. The end of the campaign is scheduled for December 10th. The stated objectives of the fund: to provide access to ether and daily changes in its price against the US dollar, as well as the possibility of long-term capital growth. 3iQ writes:

"The Ethereum concept was developed in Canada in 2013 and subsequently launched by a group of technicians from around the world."

The value of cryptoassets managed by 3iQ exceeds 400 million Canadian dollars. The company focuses primarily on Bitcoin, Ether, and Litecoin. Previously, 3iQ received permission to launch a Bitcoin investment fund for retail investors. In October 2020, trading in shares of a bitcoin fund under the ticker QBTC began on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
